Are you allergic to certain foods and would like support from an assistance dog?

Allergies are diverse and individual – that’s why the training is tailored precisely to your needs.

A dog can check food for the presence of allergens. We can train your dog together to indicate this on cue, for example by staying with its nose on the item, thereby alerting you to the allergen.

He can also learn to search a room for a food such as peanuts. This can, for example, prevent a toddler with a peanut allergy from finding and eating peanuts that have been left outside their familiar environment.

The assistance dog can detect the onset of an allergic reaction and alert you through a learned behaviour, such as nudging with its paw. This allows you to respond earlier. The dog can also bring you your bag with the EpiPen and fetch your phone so you can call for help.

Would you like your dog to press an emergency button at home or at work or call for help if you can no longer react yourself? We can also teach your dog this together.

Allergy assistance dogs give their people more safety in life. Your certified assistance dog can accompany you to many places, such as grocery shops or restaurants.
